Problems We Faced
Problems with filming included the weather not being on our side. It was very windy and the main thing that can be heard is the wind blowing.
The main problem with editing our film was trying to cut it down to one minute. We eventually settled with 1 min 10 seconds. When adding transitions to our film they kept going on the wrong scenes.
When writing the review for our magazine article, we decided to write a negative review, this is because there was a lot more negative things we could say about our film than postitive things.

The Script
(In the car park, the car cleeaner is cleaning a car. Business woman walks over towards her own car.)
Car cleaner: Good afternoon Madam, would you be interested in having your vehicle cleaned?
Business woman: No sorry, I'm very busy today.
CC: Hang on wait, Don;t I know you from somewhere?
BW: No I doubt it.
CC: Didn't we go to school together?
BW: Oh yes, your'e Mary Smith aren't you?
CC: Yes, what are doing these days?
BW: I'm an executive for a very big company.
CC: Your'e lucky, I really messed up on my exams, I wish I had paid more attention.
BW: Well i'm sure things will work out for you too.
(Flashback, sitting the exam, swapping the exam papers at the end.)
(Back to car park)
BW: Would you like a hand with that?
CC: Yeah sure thanks!
(Both start cleaning the car)

The Set
We first started filimg our short film at a house scene but we found that the lighting was wrong and it did not look as effective and it did not portray the story the way we intended.
We then changed the set to a car park and made the lowskilled job a car cleaner. The car park effectively showed the comparison between the two characters and so we used this for our final idea.

Basic Plot
The basic plot to our short film was two friends from school being reunited after years. They are both in very different job and financial positions. One is very rich with a good job whereas the other has a low paid, low skill job. There is then a flashback of how the rich character swapped the exam papers at school.
First Ideas
Our first ideas included two people sitting an exam or conquering a fear. The exam idea was that someone would cheat in the exam. The fear idea included a character having no choice but to face a fear. In the end we chose to pursue the exam idea because we had to include two characters taking a test which would be harder. Also, it was easier to use the exam idea in the time that we were given and with the resources provided. The fear idea could also be dangerous because we were thinking of a fear of heights idea.
Why we chose 'The Test'
Mehveen and I thought that the test film would be the easiest to fit into one minute. As there was only two of us, we were considering choosing the 'perspective' film so that we could include more characters.
